A PINK party is being held to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Group is hosting their annual ‘girlie’ fun event on Friday, October 23 at the Masonic Hall in Kingsway.
Karen Peters, the centre’s operations co-ordinator said: “This is definitely one of my absolutely favourite events of the year.
“A 100 wonderful women in one room pinking it up.
“So dig out your pink glad rags and your dancing shoes and come and join us for the pinkest party of the year.”
The evening will include games, a disco and carvery dinner. There will also be raffles and a tombola.
Tickets priced £10 are available from the centre in Alforde Street.
