RUNCORN mum Kelly Massey cherished the wedding of her dreams after hitting the jackpot on the EuroMillionaire raffle.

She joined other winners from across the region to celebrate the creation of 4,000 National Lottery millionaires, who have shared £11.5bn.

Kelly nee Caldwell, aged 32, whose luck struck two years ago, said she still loves shopping for bargains.

She married her childhood sweetheart Jason Massey, aged 42, last year and says the money has not gone to their heads.

Kelly, an Easyjet air hostess for seven years, quit her job to spend more time with her five-year-old daughter, Hollie.

Jason still works as a project manager for B&Q.

Former Wade Deacon pupil Kelly said: “It hasn’t changed us at all. Everything is normal.

“I still go to Poundland and I love car boot sales and markets.”

She said they bought their own house in Runcorn but didn’t splash cash on any swish furniture or elaborate decor.

She said: “We used to live with my mum so just having our own family home is lovely.

“We don’t go over the top. Why pay for expensive designer gear when you can get normal stuff that is just as good?

“We just wanted stability.

“We are trying our best to safeguard Hollie and make sure she has a future where she doesn’t have to worry about anything.”

Kelly bought her dad, John, a house and takes her mum, Diane, on holiday every time they go away.

She says she constantly treats her family.

She bought her brother a car and celebrated her 30th birthday with friends and relatives in Egypt.

Everton fan Kelly says her biggest luxury was buying a Range Rover.

She is still amazed that her numbers came up.

Kelly added:”I never thought it would happen to me. It still feels a bit surreal.

“We would never have been able to get married if I hadn’t won the lottery.

“It has given us stability. We don’t have to worry about bills anymore but we keep our feet on the ground.”

Kelly bought her winning ticket at the Co-op in the old town.
