BUSINESSES in Halton can learn more about superfast broadband and the grants that are available to improve connectivity during a free event held by the council.
A number of homes in the area have now benefitted from superfast broadband due to the Connecting Cheshire programme but some still suffer with poor connectivity.
The business breakfast event at The Heath Business and Technical Park in Runcorn on September 2 will explain the timetable for future broadband roll-out and the areas likely to be affected.
A spokesman added: "There will also be an opportunity to find out about the Government’s Connection Voucher Scheme which can provide eligible businesses with up to £3,000 to engage a commercial provider to improve broadband connectivity."
The event starts at 7.30am with breakfast and registration, and will end around 9.30am.
All Halton businesses are welcome.
