New craft centre set to open
THE August Bank Holiday weekend marks the official opening of the Bridgewater Crafts and Garden Centre.
Adjacent to Webbs Builders Merchants on Halton Road, Runcorn, the centre is the new home for a range of small art, craft and retail units in addition to the garden centre and tea rooms.
To mark the opening, the Canal Boat Adventure Project will be running boat trips over the three day weekend along the Bridgewater Canal between the Halton Road Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, Top Locks.
