A fun-filled programme of summer activities take is being held at Norton Priory’s walled garden.

Every Monday and Tuesday, from 11am to 4pm, there will be special events for children and families.

Learning and community officer, Susan Brownrigg, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming families for a fun-packed summer.

“With games, trolls, fairies, rabbits, spacemen, bats, bears and builders there really should be something for everyone.”

Youngsters can have a go at an obstacle course on July 27 and 28.

Children are invited to step into the future on August 17 and 18.

Time travellers will be challenged to investigate what a museum of the future would be like.

Children can come dressed as a spaceman or alien and make a spaceship.

Old and new construction methods will be put to the test on August 24 and 25 as Norton Priory begins its new development.
