Arson attack at disused Runcorn pub
VANDALS have torched a disused Runcorn pub.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at the Burma Star in Leaside, Halton Brook, shortly before 8pm last night.
Crews used two appliances to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
