HALTON’S charity live music festival will have a new look this year.

Rec’d All Day will be staged at The Queens Hall Studio in Lacey Street, Widnes on Saturday, July 11, from 6pm to midnight.

This annual event of live entertainment has raised more than £15,000 for North West Cancer Research and other charities.

Space frontman Tommy Scott will be headlining with a mix of solo material, alongside Space classics including Neighbourhood, The Female of the Species and Avenging Angels.

Singer songwriter Liam McGrath, aged 15, from Widnes, who won last year’s Halton’s Got Talent kicks off the event.

He performs regular gigs and has spends a lot of time in the recording studio.

Jenny Colquitt, aged 21, from Hough Green, who plays the acoustic guitar will be singing her own ballads.

She has performed gigs in pubs for a few years and recently played to a sell-out crowd at her debut concert at The Brindley.

Greg Oldfield who has performed at all 14 previous Rec’d shows promises a blend of favourites and possibly one or two surprises from his back catalogue.

Widnes favourites Kessler promise to turn up the pace for a high energy set.

Pete Bentham and The Dinner Ladies take to the stage for their first performance in Halton for four years, fresh from a successful European tour.

Tickets priced £10 in advance are available from the Queens Hall Studio, Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360 and online at wegottickets.com.
