A RUNCORN holidaymaker has described how she hid from the Tunisian gunman in a hotel bathroom.
Laura Hepple told the BBC she managed to escape from the gunfire on the beach in Sousse on Friday.
The number of British people killed in the Tunisia terror attack is expected to double to at least 30.
The Government has already confirmed 18 of the 38 victims who died in the deadly rampage by gunman Seifeddine Rezgui were from the UK.
Laura stayed until Sunday to allow others to take earlier flights home.
She said: “We had a flight booked for Sunday anyway and we decided we would stick with that, have the last day of the holiday.
“We’re probably in the safest place at the moment with armed guards around and let the people with families who’re actually got another week left to take the earlier flights.”
