TWO casualties trapped in a car were rescued by firefighters following a collision on the M56 in Runcorn.
A car struck the central reservation shortly after 9.20am on Friday, June 26.
Watch Manager Stephen White said: "The car was against the central reservation in lane three.
“There were two casualties with non-life threatening injuries.
We removed the passenger door using specialist cutting gear so the casualties could leave the vehicle under paramedic supervision."
The collision happened between junction 12 and 14.
