Drivers warned of delays on the M56 following an accident
MOTORISTS are warned of delays on the M56 following an accident.
Two lanes are closed on the westbound carriageway between junction 11 at Preston Brook and junction 12 at Runcorn.
Lanes two and three are shut heading from Manchester towards Runcorn.
There is traffic congestion in the area.
Stranded vehicle in lane 3 M56 east bound just before J14 - approach with care @cheshirepolice aware and patrols en-route.

Several reports coming in of RTCs at J11-12 M56 westbound and J9 W/b so expect delays in area. Police and Highways on the way.
