Halton Haven Hospice is looking for a volunteer to give patients, carers and their families a voice.

They are appealing for someone who has good listening and literacy skills and can commit to a few hours every week.

Viv Culleton, director of care and operational services at the hospice, said: “This is a really important role that gives patients and their families the opportunity to voice their opinions about what we do here at the hospice.”

The successful candidate will talk to patients and their families about their experiences at the hospice whilst listening to their views about the service.

The role involves visiting inpatients and day hospice patients.

Previous applicants should not apply.
