ARSON attacks destroyed 100 square metres of dry scrubland at Runcorn Hill yesterday.
It is the latest in a spate of deliberate fires at this beauty spot.
The blaze broke out at 2.14pm on Monday, June 8.
Firefighters used fire beaters to extinguish the flames in Highlands Road.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "There were several seats of fire at this incident."
