AN excited Widnes schoolboy was thrilled to meet his sci-fi heroes.
Stormtrooper Calvin Woods, aged seven, joined fans for a Comic Con-style event at Warrington Market.
Lots of people came dressed as their heroes.
There were long queues as fans patiently waited to have pictures taken with various characters.
Visitors had the chance to see Darth Vader and his stormtroopers, the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future, the Batpod from The Dark Knight, Titan, an eight-foot robot and various Doctor Who characters.
