DEVELOPERS are hoping to build houses on Runcorn’s parkland.
Keepmoat is seeking planning permission to construct 79 two and three bedroom semi-detached and mews homes on an area of Town Park in Castlefields.
The lakeside develpment is beside Town Park fishing lake, Phoenix Park car park, some woodland and Castlefields Avenue East.
Keepmoat is currently building 86 new homes on the site of the former Barge pub in Castlefields.
Bridgewater Gardens is due to be completed by December, 2015.
Residents have until June 17 to comment on the proposals for the second phase.
The developments are part of the final stages of delivery of the award-winning £100 million Castlefields Regeneration Masterplan.
The was launched by Halton Council and its partners, HCA, Plus Dane and Liverpool Housing Trust in 2002.
