INQUISITIVE children have been finding out about spring in a fun way.
Pupils at Warrington Road Nursery in Naylor Road, Widnes, visited Stockley Farm in Northwich.
They met Gladys, the pig and made friends with a whole host of other animals.
The pets corner gave them a chance to get up close and hold a baby rabbit, guinea pig, chicken or duckling.
Head teacher Amanda Brown said: “They have been learning about new life and touching baby animals, as well as reading stories about animals.”
The children were inspired to paint colourful pictures and create their own bird nests.
