FANCY trying your hand at being a market trader?
Halton Council is encouraging businesses to take a stall on one of the borough’s markets.
Special events and activities are being held at Widnes market and Runcorn street market as part of love your local market campaign from May 13-27.
New traders and businesses can trade at the market for two days for a special discount price of £10.
Experts are available to help you with your business start-up or offer advice on market trading.
A limited number of outdoor stalls at Runcorn’s Tuesday market and indoor stalls at Widnes are being offered free of charge to community and voluntary groups.
Anyone interested can book a stall and discuss their ideas with the market staff on 0151 511 8880.
