Firefighters tackle a fire at a bungalow in Windmill Hill
A WOMAN suffered burns to her hand at a fire in Runcorn.
Firefighters tackled a blaze at a bungalow in Lockgate West, Windmill Hill shortly after 8am on Sunday, March 1.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire involved the ground floor and roof space of the bungalow.
One fire engine from Runcorn and two appliances from Widnes dealt with the incident.
“Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to control and extinguish the fire.
“Ambulance staff also attended and dealt with one woman with burns to her hand.”
A fire investigation into the cause will take place.
