A LARGE amount of jewellery has been stolen from a property in Runcorn.
Burglars climbed over a side gate and broke into a bungalow in Kenilworth Avenue by smashing a rear bedroom window.
Investigating officer DC Andy McIntyre said: “Once inside, offenders made a search of the bedroom taking a large amount of jewellery and watches, many of which have great sentimental value.”
The burglars also stole cash and an iPad.
The break-in happened whilst the occupants were out on Tuesday, February 17, between 3pm and 5.30pm.
The missing items include: two Seksy ladies watches in silver and gold, a Krug Baumen silver watch with a gold face, a single pearl encircled with diamonds on a gold chain, stud pearl earrings encircled with diamonds, a gold bangle bracelet with pearls all the way around, an amethyst and diamond pendant on a gold chain, stud earings with an amethyst stone, a blue topaz drop pendant on a gold rope chain, gold drop earrings with a blue topaz stone, a chrome watch with an expanding strap and pink face with a matching bracelet and a silver apple iPad in a purple case with a sparkle pattern.
Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 694 17/02/15.
