A DAREDEVIL schoolgirl is planning to jump out of a plane for charity in memory of her nan.
Jessica Battison, aged 16, has already raised £500 for her 10,000ft sky dive.
She is now selling homemade bracelets and hopes to reach her target of £750.
Wade Deacon pupil Jessica, from Upton Rocks, said: “My granny had Parkinson’s Disease.
“It made her life a lot harder so I’d like to raise money to help people with the disease.
“A sky dive is something I’ve always wanted to do.
“I love daring things. I love the adrenaline.
“My nan was great fun but she would probably have shouted at me for doing something so daring.”
Her nan, Joan Hamilton, aged 81, died last November.
She was a primary school teacher and lived in St Helens.
Jess added: “I love performing arts. I want to go into drama, on the stage or screen.”
Jess is doing her skydive on April 17 at Tilstock Airfield in Shropshire.
