A WOMAN trapped in a car after a collision in Runcorn was rescued by firefighters.
Crews cut the roof of the vehicle to release her.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The car had been involved in a collision with another vehicle.
“Once released the woman was handed into the care of paramedics.”
The incident happened at Bridgewater Grange in Preston Brook shortly after 12 noon yesterday.
