Police appeal after two men were assaulted in Widnes
TWO men have suffered head injuries after being assaulted in Widnes.
Police found the two victims, aged 23 and 51, at Cornerhouse Lane in Upton Rocks at 12.59am this morning.
Both men were taken to Whiston Hospital.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “The 23-year-old is in a serious but stable condition.”
The area was taped off today as police forensic crime scene investigators examined the area.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses.
