A RUNCORN woman has been thanking family and friends for their donations after making the leap on the fastest zipline in the world.
June Ryder completed the challenge in Snowdonia, north Wales alongside her brother Keith Hough in memory of their mum Winnie Hough, who lost her three-year battle with bowel cancer earlier this year.
The pair have so far raised more than £740 after completing the Zip World Challenge which tops speeds of 119mph and is the longest zipline in the northern hemisphere.
June added: "I wanted to raise money to help those who are fighting the battle against bowel cancer.
"I would like to thank all my friends for their generosity."
