Can you help young carers this Christmas?
CAN you spare a gift for Santa to put in the sack for a young carer?
Halton Borough Council and Halton Carers' Centre is putting on a Christmas party for young people who look after relatives and is calling for donations of presents including books, toys or CDs.
Any donations can be made to Runcorn Carers' Centre, High Street in Runcorn ahead of the party on December 18 at Halton Borough Council's youth venue CRMZ in Widnes.
Clr Marie Wright, Halton Borough Council's executive board member for health and wellbeing, said: "These young people give a lot of their own time to help others. It would be nice if we gave something back."
