More than 100 new homes set to be built in Sandymoor
MORE than 100 new homes are set to be built in Sandymoor, Runcorn with construction expected to start in March 2015.
Developer David Wilson Homes is expected to submit a planning application soon following the Homes & Communities Agency investing more than £3.7m on the 19-acre site on flood protection and new road infrastructure.
The development will include more then seven acres of public open space for the residents and is part of the wider development of the area.
Deborah McLaughlin, HCA executive director for the north west, said: “This scheme will be fantastic news for Halton and the new homes will play a vital role in helping the wider region to meet its growth ambitions."
