Halton residents are invited to a Duncan Society public seminar about Ebola.
Professor Moses Bockarie of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine presents ‘The Ebola Outbreak in West Africa: A Public Health Perspective’.
The seminar takes place place from 5.30pm-7.30pm on November 13 in the Sherrington Seminar Room, Sherrington Building, University of Liverpool.
Professor Bockarie will discuss the recent outbreak of the Ebola virus disease first in Guinea, then Liberia, later Sierra Leone and Nigeria and the spread from the African continent.
He will also draw attention to the local and international responses to the outbreak from a public health perspective.
