A TEENAGE drug dealer was arrested after a skirmish with detectives in Widnes.

Plain clothes officers arrested the 16-year-old in Deepdale, Hough Green on Sunday, October 19.

Sgt Neil Edgar of Widnes Neighbourhood Policing Unit said: “He had a large amount of class A drugs including heroin on him.

“There was an altercation. Plain clothes officers struggled with him.

“He was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs in the Hough Green area.”

The teenager from Liverpool was released on police bail pending forensic tests.
