RESIDENTS at a Runcorn care home held a ‘pink Friday’ and raised almost £400 for cancer care.
Staff and residents at Simonsfield Care Home in Boston Avenue dressed up for the charity fun day.
Simonsfield administrator Debbie May Kilduff said: “Deputy manager Kay Metcalfe baked over 200 cupcakes which were bought by residents and family and visitors.
“All the residents dressed up in their finest pink and we had entertainment for everyone.”
She said donations are still coming in.
