Police say there are no suspicious circumstances following the discovery of a man's body in Runcorn
THE body of a man has been found in Runcorn.
Police officers forced their way into a property in Percival Lane at 12.25pm today and discovered the body of a 54-year-old man.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At around 12.25pm, officers attended an address in Percival Lane, Runcorn, following a call concerned for the occupant’s safety.
“ Entry to the property was forced and a 54-year-old man was found deceased.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a file for the coroner is being prepared."
