Two men bailed following alleged rape of 16-year-old girl in Runcorn
TWO men arrested following the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Runcorn have been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
The suspects, aged 20 and 22, from Runcorn, were taken into custody after a 16-year-old girl claimed that she had been raped in a flat above a take away in the old town.
The incident is alleged to have happened on Thursday, September 25.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Both men have been bailed.”
