DETECTIVES are still questioning a 20-year-old man following the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Runcorn.
Police arrested two men yesterday after a 16-year-old girl claimed that she had been raped in a flat above a take away in Runcorn.
Two men were arrested. One has now been released on bail.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “A 20-year-old man from the Runcorn area remains in police custody.
“A second 22-year-old man from the Runcorn area has been released on bail pending further enquiries.”
