Detectives investigate alleged rape of a teenage girl in Runcorn
TWO men have been arrested following the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Runcorn.
The attack is alleged to have happened in the old town earlier today.
Detectives are carrying out extensive enquiries.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Police have arrested two men following an allegation of rape by a 16-year-old girl at a flat above a take away in Runcorn.
“The men aged 20 and 22 from the Runcorn area are currently in police custody while investigations continue.”
