The Mayor of Halton Clr Shaun Osborne launches the new look Poundbakery in Runcorn
A RUNCORN bakery has been given a makeover.
The Mayor of Halton Clr Shaun Osborne launched the new Poundbakery store in Church Street yesterday.
The newly-refurbished shop is recruiting four new members of staff to join their five existing employees.
Poundbakery store manager, Michelle Mullan said: “"Our first day has been a roaring success.
“The people of Runcorn raved about the quality and the price, and these prices are here to stay.
“People have been queuing up for tasty treats since we opened and some of the cakes and baguettes proved so popular that they sold out.”
