A DECADE of success was celebrated at a family fun day on Sunday.
More than 200 people attended the event at The Wids Health and Fitness in Heath Road.
It was organised by Matt Fiddes Martial Arts School, which was established in 2004 and holds classes for children and adults across the whole of Cheshire, including Widnes.
Master Steve James, a fourth degree black belt who was presented with a Hall of Fame honour by Matt Fiddes himself during an awards night on Saturday, said: “Thank you to everyone who came along, it was a fantastic day. Special thanks to Jump children’s charity for putting on a tombola and Will Bounce for the bouncy castles.
“The instructor stocks raised £70 for the club — I was in them twice!”
