Police appeal after an aggrevated burglary in Runcorn

POLICE today appealed for witnesses after an aggrevated burglary in Runcorn.

Two men burst into a property in Parkers Court and assaulted a 55-year-old woman.

They stole her property and a vehicle.

The burglary happened shortly before 9.30am this morning.

The vehicle was recovered a short time later in an underground car park at the junction of Balfour Street and Holloway.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time or has any related information should call 101, asking to speak to DC Andrew McIntyre about incident 215 of 3 September 2014.
