HALTON residents are invited to dust off  treasures hidden in the attic and turn them into cash.

TV antiques expert David Dickinson is coming to Widnes on Saturday, September 13.

He will be filming Dickinson's Real Deal at Kingsway Leisure Centre in Kingsway, WA8 7QH, from 9am to 5pm.

This popular daytime ITV show, now back for an 11th series,  is regularly watched by more than a million viewers.

David and his dealers will be looking for some more 'bobby dazzlers' brought in by people from Runcorn and Widnes.

Anyone wishing to bring their antiques and collectables along will be given a free valuation by an independent dealer who will offer to buy it from you.

David keeps an eye on the deals and offers advice about whether to take the dealers' cash or gamble at auction.

Last time the show was in this area, Sue sold her necklace to a dealer for £970 and Matthew walked away with £910 for his silver tea set. Alison's ring reached £5,000 at auction.

Admission is free and you do not need to book a place or a ticket.

You will be asked for ID on the day.
