CATALYST Science Discovery Centre in Mersey Road, Widnes is offering free admission from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, September 14 as part of the heritage open day scheme.
Visitors can explore fascinating galleries, home to more than 80 interactive exhibits and there will be an opportunity to watch some rarely seen archive films.
The black and white footage comes from the Brunner Mond archive film collection and includes clips from industries such as ICI and will be screened at 1pm, 1.45pm and 2.15pm.
