Motorists warned of Watkinson Way road closure
THE A557 Watkinson Way in Widnes is closed after an articulated lorry overturned near the Rainhill Stoops roundabout.
A Merseyside Police spokesman confirmed the road remains closed.
Diversions are in place whilst St Helens Council workers tackle the fuel spillage.
Motorists heading for Widnes are advised to use the A57 Warrington Road exit.
The accident happened at 8.40am this morning.
