YOUR wedding dress could make a dream come true for someone with only weeks to live.
Wedding organiser Patricia Harrison has launched a new charity, Gift of a Wedding, for couples, who despite facing terminal illness, have decided to commit themselves lovingly to each other.
She is now inviting Halton brides and grooms to donate their outfits and wedding accessories.
Patricia, from Stalybridge, said: "When you have a terminal illness, every day is hugely significant. Our goal is to make the dream of a wedding possible to those whose future lives have been afflicted by illness.
"Our team will strive to provide the best possible outcome to make their special day memorable."
Intu Trafford Centre is hosting a donation day on Saturday, September 6, from 10am to 10pm on the bandstand in The Orient.
