Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Daresbury yesterday.

A 20-year-old man from Glasgow believed to be leaving Creamfields sustained serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a car shortly before 3.45am on Bank Holiday Monday August 25.

He was taken to Aintree Hospital, where he sadly died.

The accident happened at the junction of Chester Road, A56, and the Daresbury Expressway, A558, Warrington.

The driver of a Toyota Hilux involved in the collision, a 27-year-old man from Manchester, did not sustain any injuries.

The family of the 20-year-old man have been informed and no arrests have been made.
