A FAMILY fun day in Hale village raised £6,000 for a little boy with a life threatening condition.
Stephen Erangey, aged three, has been diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma, a very rare and aggressive form of cancer.
His family hopes to raise £250,000 to take him to America for specialist treatment.
Hale villager Cerri Gallager organised the event at The Wellington Pub.
Her daughter, Angela Whiteley, aged 38, and her husband, Jonathan, aged 42, raised a further £3,350 from a sponsored walk
Cerri, aged 61, and her husband, Thomas, aged 62, and their family run a haulage company, JWT Commercial Limited in Garston, where Stephen lives.
