TRAIN passengers travelling from Widnes Station did their bit to help raise money for the Samaritans.
Volunteers from the charity were at the station as part of Talk To Us, the charity's annual awareness month reminding people that it was always there to talk.
Volunteers from the Warrington, Halton and St Helens branch were also at St Helens Central Station at Asda Westbrook in Warrington and between them raised £281.60.
Emma Cooke, branch publicity officer, said: “This wouldn’t have been possible without the time and dedication of the 15 volunteers who gave their time to be at all three events.”
