Two Runcorn men charged as part of kidnap gang
TWO men have been charged for their part in a gang accused of kidnap.
Anthony Hughes, aged 23 and Thomas Prior, aged 29, both from the Halton Brook area of Runcorn, have been charged with kidnap after being arrested at an address in Kirkby on Thursday.
A third man, a 22-year-old from the same area, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of kidnap, theft of a motor vehicle and aggravated burglary.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The two men have been remanded in custody until their appearance before Chester Crown Court on Monday, August 18.
