WIDNES firefighters will be hitting the red carpet at Reel Cinema on Friday.
They will be at The Hive based cinema to mark the launch of Disney film Planes Fire and Rescue.
And cinema-goers can take a tour around the fire engine and find out how to keep safe this summer - whether they're camping, barbecuing or cooking at home.
Widnes firefighter, Phillip Bishop, is co-ordinating the event.
He said: "This is an ideal opportunity for us to meet the public and talk to them about how they can keep themselves and their families safe this summer.
"We can also show them around our fire engine which, although not a firefighting aeroplane like Dusty Crophopper, is pretty exciting for the young cinema-goers to see close up!"
Widnes Fire Cadets will also be there raising funds for their 2015 trip to Nepal where they are helping to build a school high up in the Nepalese mountains.
