HELP battle against cancer at a charity bash organised by the friends and family of a young Widnes mum who died from the disease last year.

Katie Daintith, from Farnworth, died from cancer in January 2013 aged 25 and after her death her loved ones organised a ball to raise money for charity.

This year they have decided to do the same and will donate all proceeds to Cancer Research UK in her memory.

The charity party will take place at Perrfect Events' marquee on Stockley Farm, Stockley Lane, Stretton, Warrington, on August 16 from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 each and  there will be a bar, DJ buffet and raffle on the night.
