Police appeal after garden shed is torched in Runcorn

VANDALS torched a garden shed in Runcorn.

Two fire crews, one from Runcorn and one from Widnes, tackled the blaze in Baker Road shortly after 11pm on Thursday, July 24.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Police and a fire investigator were requested to attend a garden shed fire due to suspected arson. The shed was well alight on arrival of the crews who used two hose reels and a main jet to extinguish the blaze.”
