POLICE are appealing for information after two vehicles were torched in Widnes.

Firefighters tackled the two fires in Tanhouse Lane shortly before 2pm on Friday, July 11.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fires involving two vehicles on Tanhouse Lane are believed to have been started suspiciously.

“Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the fires.”
