Police appeal after two arson attacks in Runcorn

POLICE are appealing for information following two arson attacks in Runcorn.

Vandals torched tree roots and rubbish on Daresbury Expressway.

Crews used a back pack with water to put the blaze at 10am on Sunday, July 13.

A tree stump was deliberately set on fire in Palacefields Avenue shortly after 7.30pm on Friday, July 11.

Firefighters used a hand held extinguisher to put the fire out.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
