FIREFIGHTERS tackled an early morning blaze at a flat in Runcorn.
The fire broke out in a first floor flat in Birch Road at 5.16am on Sunday, July 13.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “When they arrived crews found that there was a fire in a first floor flat. “Hose reel jets and special fans were used to put the fire out.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“A fire investigation has been launched to find the cause of the blaze.”
