A DANCE festival brought stage shows back to life in Widnes.
Pupils from SS Peter and Paul Catholic College teamed up with children from primary schools to stage a two-day dance festival to packed audiences.
They performed dances and songs from Frozen, The Glee Movie, Hairspray and Moulin Rouge.
Dance teacher Alison George said: “The dance festival is always a highly anticipated event. We’re really pleased to welcome primary school children. It’s an exciting event.”
Year 12 pupils led workshops with children from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, St Bede’s, St Basil’s, St Gerard’s, St Michael’s, St John Fisher and Simms Cross.
The experience helped the level three BTEC students to develop their choreography and teaching skills.
The teenage dancers recently performed at The Royal Albert Hall, the National Fringe Festival in Nottingham and The Lowry.
