A WIDNES schoolgirl is donating her long blonde locks to make a wig for children with cancer.

Rehanna Cullen, aged eight, is having 12 inches cut off her hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs, free of charge to children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Her mum, Debby, aged 38, a florist from Halton View, said: “Rehanna lost her dad when she was two and her grandmother 12 months later.

“She read about this charity and wanted to something to help.

“Rehanna is absolutely amazing. She is a lovely little angel. Everyone loves her.”

Debby is organising a family fun day on Sunday, July 27, at Birchfield Road Sports and Social Club, from 12.30pm to 5pm.

There will be 17 stalls including crafts, dressmaking, cakes and jewellery, live entertainment, a football match, dancers and a talent show.

St John Fisher pupil Rehanna has raised £350 and will have her hair cut at the event.
